The Way of Peace

The Way of Peace

God is training us in steadfastness. Whatever we might be facing at this very moment, we must rest assured that God is in control. He is with us and He can calm the storms of life.

That is why we can respond calmly and confidently, knowing that God is with us always.

As soon as something or someone grabs your attention, talk to God about it. Thus God shares in our joys and sorrows and viceversa.

God helps us cope with whatever lies before us. This is how God lives and works through us. This is the Way of Peace.

Psalm 112:7; Isaiah 41:10

Lift up Your Shield of Faith

Good morning,
Dear Warriors!!

Above all its time to take the shield of FAITH with which we are able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one (fear, doubt and worry are those arrows; thoughts that are like flames aimed to your precious life).

Lift up your SHIELD of faith, FAITH comes through hearing his Word!!

His WORD is also our SWORD OF THE SPIRIT as we PRAY always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplications for all the saints.

Hear and believe!!
Act upon his Word!!
Be strong in the LORD
and in the Power of his Might!!

 STAND FIRM

Ephessians 6: 16-18
Be blessed!!

Hope for the Nations

In him was life, and the life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Love never fails. There is no limit to God’s love. It fills all space, time and eternity. It shines. May you experience how wide and long and high and deep is the love of God for us all!

Jesus has promised to always be with us.
We can walk purposefully with Him, as He directs our course one step at a time.
We are his followers. We thank him for each blessing along the way; this brings joy to us and to Him!!

Think of all those ships in storms who can see the light from far away and come safely home to shore. Jesus is our life an our light. He will always shine for us and He will take us safely home. We will live eternally with Him.

Jesus Calms the Storm

Bible Story from Mark 4: 35-41

One evening Jesus said to his apostles, ‘Let us sail to the other side of the lake’.
When their boat was out on the water, a storm arose. Winds blew and waves beat against the sides of the little vessel. But Jesus had fallen asleep.

The apostles woke him and cried, “Master, save us or we shall drown!” And Jesus stood and said to the sea, “Peace. Be still.” At once the winds fell and the sea grew calm. And Jesus asked the apostles, “Why were you afraid?” And they said to one another, “Who is this Jesus that even the wind and the waves obey him?”

Do a collage activity with your children picturing Jesus in the boat as he raised his hands to heaven and commands the winds and the sea to be still.

He also says to us today: “Be still and know that I am God”!!

Prayer: Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for Jesus!! Thank you that all authority has been given unto Him!!
Thank you that in his name you can still calm the storms!! We love you for sending Jesus to us!! Jesus our beloved Savior!!

Blessed be your mighty name!!
Amen

Fixing our eyes on Jesus

Hebrews 12: 1, 2

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Colossians 2: 6-7

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Trust and thankfulness will get us safely through all situations. Keeping our eyes on Jesus.

God bless you dearly,
Lilian

Hope, Faith and Love

Ruth followed Naomi,
her Mother in law;
 believing in God
 her faith was greatly rewarded.

 God is alive.
He is honored by our faith in Him.
 He loves families.
He is Jehova Jireh our provider.

Wherever you are...
May God guide you,
Wherever you go...
May He go with you.

Whatever you do...
May He be your light.
At all times...
May God bless you.
Amen.
