The Lord is good

The simple happiness of being just there.
How blessed the afternoon is when I can be home to greet my family as they arrive or cook something tasty for them.

The Lord is good to everyone.
His compassion is intertwined with everything He does.
He cooked breakfast on the beach
 for his disciples on that morning dawn
after they had been all night fishing.

He is always there for us. He is home.
He will listen to our prayers and our heart.
God knows, he cares!
We are never alone!

Build upon the Rock

Hold tightly to the little

strength you have

so that no one

will take away your crown.

Do not let this happy trust

in the LORD
 die away,

no matter what happens.

Do the good things

that result
 from being saved

obeying God with deep reverence.

Shrinking back from anything

that would displease Him.

Press on to know Him.

Through it all, keep true to Him.

His word shines through forever bright

I am but a pilgrim here on Earth

where Jesus is my guide.
His word, my daily bread,
His gentle words so kind.
They comfort and sustain,
Bringing hope and truth , new life.

So soft His healing touch,
shines through, forever bright.
